Christmas 2010

We had a great Christmas with lots of fun visitors. We had grandma and grandpa Williams, Skip, Bonnie and Griffin Williams. We enjoyed being together and loved all of Grandma Williams games and crafts. This was definitely a year to remember.
Snuggling with Grandpa Williams on the Couch and wathching a great FB game.
Our favorite games-Spot It and another game I cannot remember the name but I will add it later.
Grandma Williams helped all the kids make a Nativity out of walnut shells. It is so adorable that I packed it away for next year. Thanks to Abby who made part of it back in Utah.
Christmas Eve started with the traditional gift of socks for everyone from Biff. Then we had breakfast at the Sunrise Cafe. It was muy Delicioso and we were all stuffed! After breakfast we worked off our calories in a good game of bowling. We had a great time. The traditional re-enactment of the Nativity with a live baby as baby Jesus, thank you Griffin.
Everyone in front of the tree before the presents were opened.
The kids getting ready to unwrap the presents.
Bailee holding Griffin as he is tired from the big day.
Grandpa Williams opening Lea's present from the MTC. Then as usual--meaning it happens every year. I did not take any pictures of Christmas Day. I think this year I actually lost the camera in all the rubble. I hope to actually take some next year. HOPEFULLY!!

December traditions

We love our traditions at Christmas! Every year Grandma Price sends a project for each Monday night for us to make or do. This is the first one-a paper Christmas Tree. Biff LOVES to put these together. The finished product was this CUTE tree. Another one of our favorites is the Christmas Walk at Fowler Park. We braved the weather with the Threlfalls. They have all of the cabins decorated and different pioneers in each one. It is so much fun to be out in the cold and go through the snow. It just feels like Christmas.

Thanksgiving 2010

We had another great Thanksgiving in Terre Haute. This year Skip, Bonnie, and Griffin Williams and also Lynnie, Jeremy, Price, Brinlee, and Kylee Hodson all came to visit. It was filled with a lot of games-bowling, Wii, and Four square. Skip, Lynnie, and I braved another Black Friday and Midnight Walmart run. Griffin was the newest family member to join us this year and waht a cutie! 2B005.jpg"> Lynnie and Jeremy missed us so much last year they decided to come again this year!! We really missed them, too. The Kids table where there is always tons of excitment!! The thing we loved most passing Griffin around to hold him!!

They had the friendliest dog that everyone loved petting.

Picture of the kids at the many cut outs they had there.

The entrance into pumpkin works. The place was fun but a major money sucker especially for a cheap-o like me.
Rowen lost his first tooth. It made me realize how old he is getting and time is going WAY too fast!!
Elly waiting for the volleyball so she can serve in the final county game.

Honey Creek JV volleyball team after winning the county chomapionships 2010. Go BEES!!

Rowen , Archie and Kenny after their Flag Football game. Treats- the best part.

Rowen telling us his team is #1 after their game.
Braden found his favorite tree and played in it for a week straight. He also found the lovely poison ivy and has been covered in it for a while now. He has had to have a shot in the rear and is now taking prednisone for it. Lesson learned--STAY OUT of that tree!!!

Fun Family Times

We have been going to a lot of soccer games for Braden and Elly. They both LOVE it. Here is Braden before his first game at the Pike Fest with Chris and Brody. They won second overall and had an awesome time. Go Flyers!

Ro learned how to ride a two wheeler and here he is riding down the Newton's lane. It always just make me smile when he rides his bike--it is so dang CUTE!

Ro playing at the mall playground-we do have FUn while the kids are in school.

Lea and Braden after church in Normal. We had the Williams come home with us for a week and we had a great time. We can't wait for them to come again.

The Normal, IL chapel for Griffin's blessing day--he looked adorable!

We also ventured to Moonshine, IL for lunch and the famous "Moonburger" It was a really neat place and so out of the way that we never would have gone if we did not have visitors. I do however reccommend it!

One day we went to the NCAA offices and Hall of Champions Museum. We had a blast -here is Lea in the mix. We also went to the Indiana State Library and were on the hunt for some family history information.

Olivia and I ran a half marathon on Sept. 11. This is pre-race and inside the car since it was raining so hard but the rain stopped right after the race began and the weather was great!

After the Race--We DID it!!

Lea and Braden are mesmerized by the Game.

The football games were a highlight of our fun relaxing weekend. Biff, Emily and Richard watching one of the many games.

Peyton took on the job of getting Griffin to sleep and wrote a letter to Bonnie telling her if you want Griffin to get to sleep just pat and rub. As you can see it worked.

Just hanging out and watching a few football games-FUN!

Skip, Ro and Griffin in the early morning

Everyone loved holding Griffin. He was a good sport and wasn't too traumatized.

We played Lots of games like capture the flag (even if Biff cheated), and Sardines. Biff and Lea hiding behind the grill in Sardines.

The BBQ grill was a great place to pack it in as you can see ADD BRADEN!!
The best hiding place in the game of Sardines was on the roof of the club house. This was even better when Skip was up there in the dark.
Here is the whole family after a night of games. We wish everyone lived lots closer. We had a ball.

Bailee (at the Net) in action at a volleyball game.

My two number one fans-Peyton and Rowen. We have a blast going to LOTS of games together!!
