100th day at school

Peyton's 1st grade class celebrated the 100th day of school by dressing up like a 100 year old person. Thank you to the Newton's endless supply of anything you never knew you needed, we had quite the attire for the day. He even had the gray hair (full of baby powder). That morning we were so busy getting everyone out the door that I didn't have time to get a picture so I went to the school to get a picture of Peyton. The best was seeing him so seriously sitting at his desk in all the garb doing his work. It will forever be in my memory and was sooo cute!
Later after school the other kids got the stuff on and I would randomly see 100 year old people chasing each other out in the snow-wig and all. Too funny!!

Cubs on the Ice

Braden's cubmaster, Sister Blanton, lives in an awesome house on a mile long lake. In the summer, we went out and rode on their pontoon. Now that it is winter, the lake is frozen over and we had soooo much fun.

The cubs played hockey relays with sticks and with brooms.
We had snow ball fights . Here's Braden getting his ammo and now one was safe!!
Races on the ice.

Joshua showed us that he is an awesome ice skater and NO FEAR!

Finish it off with hot chocolate and cookies and it was a great afternoon --thanks Blantons!!

Elly turns 11!

We had the Gage's over for soup and bread bowls. I am sure they loved the wildness-yikes!!

Elly had friends over for a party. They made letters on chipboard, ate pizza and watched a movie (Night at the Museum) and then played Guesstures.

The finished letters--too cute!!

The cupcakes and Rowen HAD to be part of the party!! Lucky for him his "cuteness factor: still helps him get away with a lot.

It was a fun night!
